Family was everything to Carmela.  She is much loved and will always be remembered as a kind, generous and loving sister, mother, grandmother and great grandmother.

Carmela Testa was born on 2nd June 1930 in the town of Avellino, Italy.  She moved to the UK at the age of 19 and met John Brayshaw whilst working in the Yorkshire Mills.

Carmela soon became a mother to Muriel, Anne and Janet.  The family continued to grow and she is now a beloved grandmother to Julie, Stephanie, Debbie, Aran, Lisa, Rowan and Fergus, and great grandmother to George, Holly, Ella and Bobby.
